22 Years and Still Growing!
Thanks to you, and with longtime support from the Kicking Assets Fund of the Tides Foundation, we're approaching the distribution of Program #1,200 of This Way Out! We bring you global LGBT news and explore LGBT culture around the world during our internationally-distributed half-hour community radio show each and every week.
And we're still growing! New stations have joined our carriage list in recent weeks, including Rainbow 95 in Cowlington, Oklahoma, and four additional stations in Australia: 2RRR in Gladesville, New South Wales; 3UGE in Alexandra, Victoria; 5PBA in Salisbury, South Australia; and 8CCC in Alice Springs, Northern Territory (the town made famous in "The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert"). See the list of Affiliate Stations tab at our website to find a local station near you -- or as always, you can listen to each week's show via our free podcasts. You can now also find us on iTunes!
The producers of Audiofile have put on their statistician hats to tell us that they've featured more than 415 albums over the years (and still counting) during their monthly review of new CDs by openly-LGBT musical artists -- wow!
You can also read our new blog, follow us on Twitter, and check out our Facebook Fan page - and don't forget to visit us at www.thiswayout.org.
As we often say, we literally can't go on without you! You can now sign up to make monthly donations in the amount of your choice from anywhere in the world -- tax deductible in the U.S. to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporate name of Overnight Productions (Inc.)... and as always, one-time donations are also very much needed and appreciated. Please visit www.thiswayout.org to contribute to our efforts. We offer several "thank you gift" CDs to our donors with a variety of LGBT news and cultural programming – they’re each described on our website.
You can review the content of each weekly This Way Out by clicking on the Program Summaries tab there, and read the text of each week's NewsWrap by clicking on that tab. You can also get information about receiving postal-mailed CDs of our programs -- at less than the cost of a typical newspaper subscription -- by clicking on the CD or Cassette Subscriptions tab.
Remember, This Way Out is brought to you each week by our large family of volunteer radio journalists, program feature producers ... and by you!
Thank you!
