The Ninth on 8 & Lea DeLaria
California's marriage equality-banning Proposition 8 suffers a new defeat at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, where the justices have decided to stand pat on an earlier ruling that the measure is unconstitutional (Pacifica Radio's Tina Bachemin reports).
The lesbian comic/singer/Broadway star is all jazzed up with everywhere to go, including the studios of Resonance-FM for a visit with Rosie Wilby of Out in South London for an entertaining discussion about her origins and future plans.
Plus a Rainbow Minute on this year's history-making "Mr. Gay World" contest in South Africa.
And in NewsWrap: Denmark weds civil marriage equality to religious rites, "DOMA" dies again in U.S. federal court, Moscow bans Pride for a century, Mormon allies build bridges to Salt Lake Pride, and more news reported by Tanya Kane-Parry and John Torres (produced by Steve Pride).
