Plebiscite Prognosis!
The "Yes" campaign is taking no chances, despite the polls predicting a victory for equality in Australia's postal marriage plebiscite. This Way Out Sydney correspondent Barry McKay takes a closer look - in the news and on the ground - to see if the optimism is well-founded.
Two Rainbow Minutes celebrate the advent of marriage equality in Spain and South Africa (read by Bill Lupoletti and Allen Browne, produced by Judd Proctor and Brian Burns).
And in NewsWrap: Egypt's "rainbow flag crackdown" mushrooms into mass arrests and a media blackout, Azerbaijan’s LGBTQ victims describe brutal assaults, same-gender couples begin married life in Germany, Anglicans sanction Scottish Episcopals for queer nuptials, Trump triples-down on opposing LGBTQ rights, and more international LGBT news reported this week by John Dyer V and Michele Yeater (produced by Steve Pride, written by Greg Gordon).
